The three microlocations in Bosnia Herzegovina cleared with the fund of Republic of Slovenia through ITF were handed over to the representatives of Bugojno local authorities on 06 July 2004. The ceremony took place in Kop?i? - Bugojno community in the presence of Ambassador of the Republic of Slovenia in BiH, H.E.Mr. Tadej Labernik, ITF Deputy Director Goran Ga?nik, Head of Bugojno Community Mustafa Strukar, BH MAC Deputy Director Fabijan Grganovi?, media and other representatives and observers. Three locations, namely Vileši, Kop?i? and Unis Binas 4, in total 25.444 square metres and 424 mines found, were cleared with the donation of Slovenian government, doubled by US Department of State matching fund. The clearance of the areas will enable improvement of water sources and small economy prospectsfor the local comunity.
