Memorandum of Understanding signed with Libyan National Transitional Council
On 27 October 2011 Mr Dorijan Maršič, ITF Director and Dr Nagi Barakat, Libyan National Transitional Council (NTC) Health Minister signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), wishing to develop co-operation in the sphere of comprehensive victims` assistance

On 27 October 2011 Mr Dorijan Marši?, ITF Director and Dr Nagi Barakat, Libyan National Transitional Council (NTC) Health Minister signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), wishing to develop co-operation in the sphere of comprehensive victims` assistance to relieve the suffering of conflict that has affected the population in Libya.
By signing the MoU, both sides committed themselves to implement comprehensive victims` rehabilitation project »Provision of rehabilitation services to the people of Libya« which entails:
- Immediate rehabilitation treatment of patients outside Libya

- Immediate rehabilitation treatment of patients outside Libya
- Provision of physiotherapy teams to Tripoli, Misrata and Benghazi hospital
- Set up and capacity building of rehabilitation capacities in Libya
- Other activities mutually agreed
At the present ITF is in cooperation with Libyans organizing evacuation of the first group of 30 patients that will receive comprehensive rehabilitation treatment in Slovenia, at the University Rehabilitation Institute (URI So?a).
The signed MoU reflects the deep trust ITF has in the field of comprehensive victims` assistance, especially due to successfully implemented projects in the region of South East Europe and Middle East.
