Meeting with the President of the Republic of Croatia prof. dr. Ivo Josipović

On 11 August 2011, President of the Republic of Croatia prof. Dr. Ivo Josipovi? received Mr Dorijan Marši?, ITF Director, Ms ?ur?a Adleši?, Director of Croatia without Mines and Mr Zdravko Modrušan, Director of the Croatian Mine Action Centre in Brioni, Croatia.
During the meeting Mr Marši? presented ITF activities and excellent results achieved in Croatia during 12 years long works with special focus on humanitarian demining and mine risk education programs in this country that is severely contaminated with mines and unexploded ordnance.
At the end of the meeting guests expressed sincere gratitude to the President Josipovi? for all the struggle and efforts made to contribute to mine action activities in Croatia.
Altogether ITF has raised 70.142.214 million USD dollars for mine action activities in Croatia, from which 4,4 million USD were spent in 2010. For 2011 ITF plans to implement mine action activities in Croatia in total sum of 3,2 million USD.
