ITF Press conference

On 3 April, 2013 ITF held a press conference at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia in order to mark the 15th anniversary of ITF`s activity in the area of development and humanitarian aid and to present the results of the previous year. In 2012 ITF raised 21.048.780,82 USD, which were used for implementation of different projects with the cross-cutting main objective to enhance security of people living in conflict affected areas. In 2012 the projects have been implemented in 19 countries: Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Egypt, Gaza/Palestine, Ukraine, Kosovo*, Lebanon, Lithuania, Macedonia, Georgia, Libya, Cape Verde, Montenegro and Serbia. ITF also presented the national Lend you leg campaign which is being implemented for the second time in Slovenia by ITF as a part of the international campaign in support of mine free world. 2013 Lend your leg campaign in Slovenia is focusing on mine victims and promotes their full enjoyment of human rights as enshrined in the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.
