Minister for Health of the Republic of Slovenia, Mr. Tomaz Gantar hosted on 6 March 2012 a visit  of representative of Libyan Ministry for War Wounded Mr. Ali Abushawashi in company of ITF and University Rehabilitation Insitute of the Republic of Slovenia (URI Soca) delegation. 

Minister Tomaz Gantar was briefly informed about the purpose of the visit of Mr. Ali Abushwashi in Slovenia as well as about the results of rehabilitation of 25 Libyan patients in Slovenia. Mr. Ali Abushawashi expressed interest for future and wider cooperation with Slovenian side especially in the field of training of medical personnel.

Minister Tomaz Gantar outlined that there are many possibilities for future cooperation with Libyan side.
