First donation of Karlovac County to ITF

The Karlovac County Prefect Mr. Ivica Horvat and ITF Director Mr. Goran Ga?nik signed a Memorandum of Understanding between Karlovac County and ITF on 24 January 2007. The donation in the amount of 400.000 HRK will be earmarked for implementation of demining project in the area of Lasinje in Karlovac County, Croatia.

The signing of the Memorandum of Understanding is also of bigger importance, since the Karlovac County is the first County in Croatia that decided to donate for demining of their county through ITF. Consequently, the common interest was expressed during the signing ceremony, to continue the successful implementation of demining programme in the region of Karlovac, Croatia.
