This year' Night of Thousand Dinners raises money for Croatia

Thousands of individuals all over the world will join their families, friends and business partners in taking an important step towards creating a new world – a world where children and people can walk, play and work without fear, confident that the earth below their feet is clear of landmines.

International Trust Fund for Demining and Mine Victims Assistance (ITF) is again organizing a charity event “Night of a 1000 Dinners” to benefit the demining activities  and mine victim rehabilitation.  This year ITF together with the American Chamber of Commerce in Slovenia for the seventh time joins the other organizations in the world in order to get closer to our common goal – mine free land.

This year's event will take place on 8th March 2007 in Grand Hotel Union, Ljubljana. Supporting the event's noble cause in previous years, the proceeds of the this year's event will be used for a demining project in Croatia.
