The ITF Management Board appoints new ITF director

Ljubljana, 1 July 2014 – In respect to the published vacancy notice for the post of Director of ITF Enhancing Human Security, the ITF Management Board has decided to appoint Ambassador Damjan Bergant as ITF director for the period of next 4 years.

Ambassador Damjan Bergant will take on new responsibilities as ITF Enhancing Human Security director starting August 1st , 2014. Ambassador Bergant is a career diplomat and is currently ending his tenure as the Ambassador and Head of the Permanent Representation of the Republic of Slovenia to the Council of Europe in Strasbourg.
