Successful continuation of rehabilitation project

With the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and in cooperation with the Slovenian Red Cross Health and Youth Resort in Debeli rtič at the Slovenian seaside ITF has successfully carried out for the fourth time in a row a project for the enhancement of psychosocial and physical wellbeing of children from Donetsk and Luhansk regions that have been affected by conflict or have tragically lost a close relative.

Last week, the representatives from ITF and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia have visited the children and got acquainted with various sport, workshop and educational activities that form part of the rehabilitation programme. On this occasion, the responsible for project implementation at the Health and Youth Resort have also carried out a comprehensive guided tour and presentation of the facility and capacities at disposal to provide children adequate tretement.

ITF will endeavour to continue with the rehabilitation programme for the Ukrainian children also in 2016.
