Principality of Monaco became ITF donor

On 02 July 2010, ITF signed the Memorandum of Understanding with Principality of Monaco and Regional Rehabilitation Center M.A.R.E. for the donation in amount of 200.000 EUR which will be matched with the same amount by the United States of America. The funds are earmarked for the activities of Regional Center M.A.R.E. in Rovinj, Croatia. Monaco for the first time joined the ITF's donor community.
Regional Center M.A.R.E. was established in 2001 within the ITF's regional initiatives to solving mine problem in the region of SE Europe. Center operates on a model-based rehabilitation and integration of children and youth, victims of landmines/UXO.
