Premier League of Bosnia and Herzegovina in sitting volleyball
Championship of the Premier League of Bosnia and Herzegovina in sitting volleyball for the season 2023-24 is currently underway. Sarajevo’s “Fantomi” had shown some remarkable results so far. On 24th of March, as part of the spring part of the Championship of the Premier League, the X round was played in which OKI "Fantomi" Sarajevo hosted OKI "Drina" Sapna.
Sarajevo's "Fantomi" demonstrated great spirit, showing a high level of play and efficiency in all segments. “Fantomi” stays undefeated and their latest victories strengthen their position at the top of the rankings in the season 2023-2024 of the Premier League of Bosnia and Herzegovina in sitting volleyball.
Founded in 1995, OKI Fantomi is a team made up mostly of amputees injured in combat who have discovered strength in sitting volleyball. They have had tremendous success since partnering with ITF in 2005, including winning their 11th European club title in 2023. The team's development and accomplishments have been made possible by the kind donations made by individuals, organizations, and governments who are dedicated to improving human security.
For individuals with disabilities and mine victims, sitting volleyball is crucial because it can be a potent instrument for victim support, advocacy, and education about mine risks. ITF actively encourages the integration and well-being of mine victims by funding OKI Fantomi and other initiatives.
