Overview of ITF donations received and Memorandum of Understanding signed in November 2005

In November 2005 ITF received two donations in total amount 239.087,72 USD.  Municipality Stari Grad Sarajevo donated funds earmarked for ITF demining activities in Bosnia and Herzegovina in amount 178.952,16 EUR on 18 November 2005 and Republic of Korea donated funds earmarked for support to ITF mine action activities in amount of 30.000,00 USD on 24 November 2005. In period January – November 2005 ITF raised 24.585.335,02 USD of donations.

In November 2005 ITF signed two memorandums of understanding (MoU) and one protocol on BH MAC structure co-financing. ITF signed with Government of “Središnja Bosna” canton MoU on 11 November 2005 in amount of 100.000,00 KM (or 50.000,00 EUR equivalent) - funds are earmarked for demining and technical survey works in afore-mentioned canton in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Second MoU was signed between ITF and Walnut Creek United Methodist Church on 15 November 2005 in amount of 2.512,81 USD - funds are earmarked for demining activities in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Protocol on BH MAC structure co-financing was signed on 15 November 2005 between Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina and ITF in amount of 3.600.000,00 KM (or 2.200.000,00 USD equivalent) earmarked for BH MAC structure support for year 2005.
