New Rehabilitation Center Opened in Bethlehem
On 07 October 2019, the inauguration ceremony of the rehabilitation center was held in Bethlehem.

The rehabilitation center was established with generous contribution by OPEC Fund for International Development (OFID).
Funds for training of rehabilitation specialists who will be employed at the newly established Centre were provided Republic of Slovenia (Slovenia's Development Cooperation) and Republic of Korea.
The established rehabilitation Centre will be of public nature and the services will be available to all civil patients from West bank and Gaza. The Department will also reduce the need for referrals for travel and treatment abroad.

Inauguration ceremony was attended by Ms. Simona Repar Bornšek, State secretary at the Ministry of Health Republic of Slovenia, Ambassador Tomaž Lovrenčič, director of ITF Enhancing Human Security, Mr. Vojko Kuzma, Head of Republic of Slovenia Representative Office in Ramalla, dr. Mai Kaileh, Minister of Health from Palestine, dr. Amal Jadou, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs of Palestine, dr. Maysoon Elbanna, director of Medical Services of Palestine and many others.
