In June the NATO Defense Review Committee visited ITF and received a briefing on ITF activities in the field of solving landmine problems in South East Europe and other mine affected countries and regions.
In June the NATO Defense Review Committee visited ITF and received a briefing on ITF activities in the field of solving landmine problems in South East Europe and other mine affected countries and regions.
The Defense Review Committee briefing clearly demonstrated the importance Slovenia dedicates to eradication of mines and unexploded ordnance in countries of South East Europe and wider. The Committee headed by Mr. J.P.Colston, NATO Assistant Secretary- General for Defence Policy and Planning was presented with results achieved since 1998 and with future plans for mine action in the region of SEE and other mine-affected regions and countries.
