On 19 January 2012, ITF Director and Libyan National Transitional Council (NTC) - Minister for War Wounded, Martyrs and Missing Persons signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), wishing to develop co-operation in the sphere of comprehensive victims` assistance to relieve the suffering of conflict that has affected the population in Libya.
By signing the second MoU, both sides committed themselves to implement comprehensive victims` rehabilitation project »Provision of rehabilitation services to the people of Libya« which entails:
- Immediate rehabilitation treatment of patients outside Libya

- Set up and capacity building of rehabilitation capacities in Libya
The second Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) that ITF signed with Libyan Ministry reflects the deep trust ITF has in the field of comprehensive victims` assistance, especially due to successfully implemented projects in the region of South East Europe and Middle East.
