ITF Director visited Dublin and held meetings with various representatives of the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Ireland.
ITF Visit in Dublin, Ireland

On 26 and 27 September 2016 Ambassador Damjan Bergant, ITF Director visited Dublin, where he met with director general of Europe Division Ambassador Eoin O’Leary, Deputy Director of Europe Division and representatives of Disarmament and Non-Proliferation Section as well as the Latin America and Caribbean Americas Unit in the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Ireland.

Ireland is among the most important members of ITF’s donor community. Since 1999 it has allocated more than 915,741 USD for a variety of mine action programs in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia and in 2016 also in Ukraine.

Ambassador Bergant thanked the Government of Ireland for their support and contributions so far, and expressed wishes for further cooperation with ITF.
