On 30 January 2011, ITF organized social event at Kinodvor in Ljubljana, Slovenia where documentary film entitled »A way to (re) integration« was screened for the first time as a part of socio-economic reintegration program for mine victims in South Caucasus initiated in 2009. The leading donor to the program has been the Republic of Austria (Austrian Development Agency). Social event was attended by many members of ITF Board of Advisors, Managing Board, its partners, friends and wider public.
H.E. Mr. Robert Reich, Ambassador of Switzerland to the Republic of Slovenia and Chairman of ITF Board of Advisors welcomed all the participants and gave floor to the representative of leading donor to the ITF socio-economic program in South Caucasus, H.E. Dr Erwin Kubesch, Ambassador of the Republic of Austria in Slovenia.
Mr Dorijan Marši?, ITF Director gave short introduction of the film and thanked the producers and authors (Igor Pavkovi? (director), Lucija Gol?er (journalist), Tomislav Jovanovi?-Tokac (original music), Michael Manske (narrator)) for their exceptional work. Mr Marši? stressed that year 2012 represents a crucial year for the ITF when the ITF Strategy was complemented with new name and a new graphic design. Consequently the International Trust Fund for Demining and Mine Victims Assistance (ITF) has now become ITF Enhancing Human Security.
ITF received very good response at the event and therefore gained additional confidence to continue fulfilling its mission by enhancing human security and long lasting peace worldwide where the most pressing needs are.
