H.E. Mr. Amr Moussa donation to the ITF

On 30 August 2010, at the end of Bled Strategic Forum, Mr Dorijan Marši?, ITF Director, and Mr Goran Ga?nik, ITF Deputy Director, met with H.E. Mr Amr Moussa, Secretary-General of the Arab League. Mr Dorijan Marši? expressed his gratitude to H.E. Mr Moussa, for his generous donation in amount of $ 50.000. The donation is earmarked to support rehabilitation of children from Gaza – the initiative led by Slovenian president dr. Danilo Türk.
During the meeting ITF leadership presented its work, achievements and results to the Secretary-General of the Arab League. The emphasis was given on presentation of ITF projects conducted in the Middle East. The discussion was an opportunity to establish new and deeper cooperation between ITF and Arab League. Furthermore ITF presented the telemedicine project for the Middle East and asked for the possibility to organize and implement two-day workshop at the headquarters of Arab League in Cairo, Egypt. H.E. Mr Moussa agreed with the plans to implement the workshop and proposed a signature of Memorandum of Cooperation between Arab league and ITF.
